Verbal = Embarrassment

I often get comments from friends,family, and complete strangers about Elle’s verbal skills. She is quite ahead of where she “needs” to be for her age. To all of my friends with children close in age to Elle…just prepare yourself. Things come out of those little mouths that can be quite embarrassing. Monday evening we were at the grocery store & she pointed at a LADY about 10 feet from us & said, “Look, dare is Elvis!” I have NO idea where she learned about Elvis. Honestly that lady didn’t really resemble Elvis as all, but I wanted to bury myself in a hole.

    When Jenny was that age, she had a deal that she didn’t want anyone to finish a drink before her. One day when we were at Target, we were both about to finish our drinks. She yelled: “Mom, don’t BEAT ME” !!!! Talk about wanting to crawl in a hole!!!
