3, 2, 1…Blast Off

by

My little daughter has been trying to learn how to jump for nearly a year now.  After some research, I found that this is a 2 year milstone.  Poor kid had a year till she would most likely be ready to jump developmentally.  Did that faze her?  Nope.  In her little head, she’s been jumping all this time.

It was adorable to watch her “jump”.  One foot would come up while the other stayed grounded.  She would even raise her arms in the air as if she were soaring.  Plus, she would shout, “I jumping, I jumping!”  I would to tell her that she jumps like a Woods.  Basketball has never been a gift for any of us Woods.

Elle turned 2 in May & still hasn’t been able to get both feet off the ground at the same time…until today.  Today we had take off!  Joe & I were more excited than she was (according to her, she’s been “jumping” for a year).

Reminders that Elle is 2:

  • Constant use of the word NO
  • Unsuccessful potty training
  • Over emotional
  • Not wanting to play alone
  • Jumping

Oh yes! I love me some Elle video! 🙂

By the way, if you think age 2 is overly emotional wait until your little girl gets to be about 12.
