Snowing, Bundling, Playing, Whining & Ignoring

We woke up to about 6 inches of snow on the ground! Yesterday we had about an inch & Elle barely noticed. Today she begged to go out in it. I forget how hard it is it get kids bundled up to plan in the snow. It was ridiculous, I was already tired before we got into the snow. She didn’t really know what to do with herself. In fact, she had a couple panic moments when she thought she was stuck in the snow. I tried my hardest to encourage her to get “unstuck” without laughing at her.

She spent the remainder of the morning whining about everything. Her nose has been a bit runny (as you can see by the snot frozen to her face in a couple of the pictures), so I took her temperature. She has a low fever. Lovely. My plan of attack it to ignore the temp & hope it was a fluke. To many of our friends are fighting a nasty stomach bug. Hopefully if is it something, it’s only a cold. Oh now I’m thinking about it too much…back to ignoring. I’m a great mom 🙂

I hope you don’t have what we do…it’s horrible.

She looks adorable in the snow, though!

Yummy…that one of her licking her snot is awesome! Isn’t it weird that kids don’t try to wipe it away…they just lick it? GROSSS!!!
